Remember Easter when you were a child? I sure do!! I remember my mom and I searching for the perfect Easter outfits. Every Easter my brother and I would be perfectly styled for church on Easter morning.

Whether or not this is your tradition, Easter and spring are ALWAYS a good time to have portraits taken! For the last 4 or 5 years our studio has been hosting an annual bunny portrait event. Remember Me? Time for some updates! {Maine Photographer}

It has been ages since I was here. And yes, this could turn into one of those 'I promise to update the blog more often' posts. I'll do my best to try to not let that happen, and just stick to an update!

This past year has been over most successful since we began. Let's see...since our last update...This fall we hosted our UN-School Pictures event. As the holidays grew closer, we hosted our Santa event. Each of these events sold out! They are two of our FAVORITE events and it still amazes me how much they continue to grow!

January and February were focused on what I like to call 'Concept Sessions.' I (or in some cases a client) comes up with a concept and we plan a session around it. Often, these images are used for state and national competition. Here is one image from just such a session....It is called "OOPS!"

The idea was 100% from the client. A maternity pin-up session!! LOVE THAT!! This lovely young woman has been with Joanne Lee Photography for many years. We love that! We did her wedding photography, her first maternity portraits, then her daughter's portraits and now this set of maternity portraits. We <3 our clients!!
